Homes for Our Troops

CertaPro Painters’ national participation with Homes for Our Troops began in 2013. Local CertaPro® franchisees around the country have held fundraising events in support of Homes for Our Troops, including multiple 5k runs, golf tournaments and charity events. CertaPro Painters® is no stranger to giving back to Veterans. A member of VetFran, the International Franchise Association’s program to benefit qualified veterans by providing discounts on franchising fees, CertaPro Painters® is recognized industry wide for the level of support it provides for Veterans.
Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Most of these Veterans are multiple amputees, paraplegic, quadriplegic or suffered severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed defending ours, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, over 90 percent of donations to Homes for Our Troop has gone to directly support Veterans.
